This site is dedicated to the best of higher education, and our experiences in one of the United States best high school's, Soldotna High School, located in Soldotna, Alaska. Many of us have gone on to accomplish great things, and have not seen or heard from our fellow classmates in some time. This site is open to all students, staff, family and friends.
After thinking about all the trouble it has been to keep in touch with classmates, I had an idea. A place that everyone can remember, and come to catch up with each other, www.soldotnahighschool.com. One place for all classes to find out what everyone's been up to. I remember going to my class of 1987 ten year reunion and wondering, what ever happened to some of those from class of 1986, 1988 and 1989? Then I thought, a simple web community would be easy to throw up and get everyone together! Please let us know how we're doing by emailing us!

 The gallery went down when I wasn't looking, sorry about that. Got everything fixed up here this morning, so all should be good. If you have any trouble with the gallery or any other section of the website, please let me know in the forum.
I wanted to mention that I have been pretty busy with my band's website and production, outside of regular work. I've had some thoughts about making some upgrades to the website, particularly, the version of Joomla that is being used on the back end. Unfortunately, it's such a time sink, that I'm not sure when I'll have time to upgrade everything, and keep all the bridges in place that allow the forum and gallery to work in tandem with the website. It's quite a collage to synchronize user accounts in three different systems.
If anyone has any ideas about what they would like to see on the website, please let me know on the forum. The orginal intent of the site was to have a place to go to plan class reunions, which the class of 1987 used when we had ours. Since, following years have opted to use other websites to plan their reunions, which is fine. I was really just wanting to provide an alternative to classmates.com, who charge for their services when it should be free. As time goes on, more and more sites are offering inexpensive to free services that may be able to better serve your needs than this particular site, but please be aware that if you want to use soldontahighschool.com to plan your reunion, all you have to do is say something in the forum, and I will create a section for your year.
